Given a choice between electric guitar and acoustic guitar I'll choose acoustic every time.  There is something so inspiring to me about an acoustic instrument made of organic materials that were once alive.  The sound is produced instantly in your hands and the response immediate.  Each acoustic guitar is different from the rest.  There is nowhere to hide.  The player has to make it sound good.
